There are beautiful, frilly dresses for little girls that you can accessorize with a bow for her hair, lacy tights and pretty matching shoes. For little boys there are cute suits with bow ties, suspenders, socks, a jacket and sometimes a matching vest and of course little shoes like Daddy has. Many families choose a story such as 'A Christmas Carol' and read it on Christmas Eve. Another variation of this tradition is to let each family member pick their favorite Christmas story and read them over the days between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.

Another popular tradition that children love is to leave a plate of cookies and milk for Santa Claus. Beside this they can put an old key with the poem about Santas Magic Key, for people with no chimney.

To preserve all the memories you will make during your Babys First Christmas you will need a scrapbook. There are ones that come with all the paper, photo sleeves and decorative accessories so that you just add the pictures and mementos and write your recollections and you are done.
