Be Your Own Fertility Specialist

E-mail Print PDF
Be Your Own Fertility SpecialistNot being able to conceive can be terribly frustrating, especially when all you want to do is have a baby. However, rushing off to see a fertility specialist can also be a little embarrassing. So, if you are just going through the first stages of feeling that not everything is going according to plan, nut you want to hold off on going to see the fertility specialist just for a time, then why not become your own fertility specialist and work out some of the best ways you can get pregnant.

Ovulation
As any fertility specialist will tell you, the best time to conceive a child is during the optimum ovulation period. As nature has no real outward sign of telling us when is the best ovulation period, we need to test for this ourselves. One sure sign that your LH surge is about to hit is a rise in your core body temperature, so take your temperature. However, as scientific studies show that the best time to conceive a baby is in the days leading up to your ovulation, and not the days following, you need to make sure that you keep a chart of this so that you can start to implant your seed in any time up to 5 days prior to your ovulation.

Vitamins

Vitamins play an important role in our overall health. However, in today's hustle and bustle world we often find that we do not enough of the vitamins that we need in order for our body to be at peak physical shape. As such, we need to use vitamins supplements. With fertility it is not different and fertility specialists will tell you that zinc is an especially important element that both men and women need to have in their body if they want to maximize the chances they have of having children. When look at your vitamin intake needs you should also be looking at other aspects of your dietary needs and uses. For example, do you really want to be drinking six cups of coffee a day? - unlikely!

Relax
Stress can be one of the biggest barriers to successful impregnation. As such be more than a fertility specialist and become the romantic you really are by taking out the element of stress in any liaison you are having with your partner and let nature take its natural course.

Obviously being a DIY fertility specialist will not guarantee that you successfully become pregnant. As such, if you find that you are still having problems conceiving following a course of DIY fertility specialist techniques, you should take yourself off to see a genuine authentic and reputable fertility specialist as soon as you possibly can. To help you overcome any doubts or embracement you may have here, keep in mind that visiting a fertility specialist is something that one in every six couples have to do in order to become successful pregnant. Therefore, there should be no shame or embracement in this very worthwhile and genuinely life enriching experience.

It is all about TIMING. I told my doctor that my husband and I were trying to have another baby. She said to count 10 days (beginning from the first day of your last period) to 16 days. That is when you are more fertile. Starting on the 10th day, she said to have sex every other day. NOT EVERYDAY because you want your partner's sperm count to be high. Well.. we did. I took a pregnancy test yesterday.. and it was positive. It only took a month! I recommend this advice for anyone trying to conceive. Good Luck!
